Our Story
We are Empire Dojo, and we have a simple yet powerful mission: to provide authentic, effective martial arts and self-defense training to our communities. United by this central principle, we are a team dedicated to helping students reach their highest potential, promoting a safe and supportive environment for them to become strong of body, mind, and character. In the years since our initial founding in Abingdon, our school’s successes have exceeded our highest expectations, but we remain committed to our goals to enrich the lives of our members and their families. We are now excited to grow and strengthen our presence in Harford County, as we invite you to move forward together with us in Forest Hill.

YOUTH MARTIAL ARTS
Parents can give their children the gift of martial arts by enrolling them in our ages 3-12 youth programs which are designed to encourage mental, physical, and emotional development. We’re devoted to helping every student achieve success through confidence building and self-discipline, so whether your child is new to martial arts or a more experienced young athlete seeking advanced opportunities, we’ve got them covered! KRAV MAGA
Empire Dojo is also the only martial arts school in Harford County offering certified Krav Maga accredited through the Federation of Israeli Martial Arts. Build confidence and learn to protect yourself from our experienced coaches who are ready to help you unlock your best self! Whether your goal is self-defense or fitness, anyone who enrolls in our Next Level Krav Maga program will see immediate results in the supportive and respectful atmosphere of our studio. ADULT MARTIAL ARTS
Just as our youth programs help kids at all skill levels thrive, our adult programs also offer a wide range of training opportunities regardless of your experience. We’re proud of the culture we’ve fostered, where tradition meets modern application. Central to our adult curriculum is practical and effective self-defense, achieved through balance in physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. The techniques we teach at Empire Dojo are derived from a combination of traditional Japanese martial arts including Japanese Jujutsu, Ninpo, Ninjutsu, and Aikijujutsus. Highlights of our traditional martial arts program for adults include:

- Strength-building and total-body fitness conditioning

- Japanese culture and language
